power steering switch

i did a swap from a '86 305 tpi to a '89 350 tpi i bought a '89 formula wiring harness complete for the same year setup but dont know if the harness was equipped for the power steering switch could i just change the lines to the regular ones with out the switch or do i need to keep the switch....i might have other questions related to this swap but ill go 1 question at a time please help

i read on here you can hook it inline with the a/c wiring to get a bump in idle during low speed turning? atleast im pretty sure i did. lol

My 87 had an LG4 (4BBL), I converted it to TPI, Originally it had the switch for the Power Steering... I left it there, nothing hooked up to it, it drives fine, never felt the need for it honestly...

some other people have stated that under slow turns or hard turns it might stall because its not inputing signal to the ecm

mine stalled the other day but my idle speed isnt high enough. i just swapped so im still working out the bugs.

i checked the '89 harness that i got and cant find the wire for it i know the color is green/red and black/white and i followed it to the main harness where all the wires meet the thickest part of the harness and doesnt have that wire
