305 19lb injectors vs. 24lbs?

Hey guys pretty new at this whole thing. Bought a set of 19lbs to replace my old ones and installed the Bosch III's from southbay (highly recommended BTW) I was just wondering however since I am new to this whole wrenching on my own car thing, what the difference would have been had I put on 24lbs injectors? I've seen guys doing this on their 305 but never really understood why? Anyone? Thanks for helping the rookie out!

24lbs is overkill for a stock 305 motor, also the stock chip is set up for 19lbs. if you change the injectors you will also need a custom chip.

you can put on 60 lbs injectors for all that its worth and tune the car to run ok...it doesnt really matter, just have to tune for the new injectors.

Size changes the injector constant in the chip, and if the injectors have different spray patterns, then you may have to adjust VE tables or MAF flow tables to get the correct fueling again...not all that difficult to do once you have all the software/hardware equipment to do it all.
