I recently got into a tpi retro fit I'm running a maf system with the cold start injector. bought a new retro fit harness and have the 165 ecm. I got a g1 adaptor with the zif socket and new chip from moates. I have purchased almost all new sensors when i put this set up together, new ecm, temp sensor, knock sensor, oil pressure sender. I am not running a vss, dont know that that would cause a problem but figuring not. i'm running is an ARAP BIN and have dissables the vats. Heres whats going on. I put the adaptor and the chip with the ecm, and have double and triple checked that they are in right and they are. When the key is turned to the on position the fuel pump turns on to prime the system but will not turn off. I also get no injector pulse when I crank the engine over. I have good spark. The wierd parts is when i pull the chip from the zif socket the fuel pump will kick on with the key to prime and a few seconds later it shuts off like it should and the car will fire right up running off of the limp mode chip. Also a new advancement i connected the a and b terminals on the ALDL plug to pull any codes and all of the sudden it does nothing, telling me there is a defective diagnostic circuit. So i wouldn't be able to set the minimum idle speed even if i got this figured out. This circuit was not like this until a day or so ago. but i've been battling this injector prob for a month or longer . Any info as what to check would be very helpful. Thank you in advance.
