New tpi swap question

I have a 91 305 tbi rs and I am goin to tpi intake. I got the setup from a 88 camaro with a orig 305 tpi. I have the complete harness as well it's automatic. My question is will I have to do any repinning to the harness when I put a manual ECM connected to it and do I have any options in what ECM to use or does it have to match the year of the harness? Plz help I want to do the swap over the weekend but I dnt want to end up with my car not turning on or something anything is appreciated thanks

Re: New tpi swap question

The programming is different between auto and manual cars, so you will need the prom ( or a chip burned) for the standard shift. Your fuel pump will not support the TPI either. You will need 50 PSI minimum, and the stock TBI pump only puts out about 15. Same with any fuel rubber fuel lines. may need to swap to FI line. For the wiring, there will likely need to be some re-pinning. Best to get the two wiring diagrams and go through them pin by pin.
