will 42# fuel injectors work on 89 IROC if they work on 02 SS?

will 42# fuel injectors work on 89 IROC if they work on 02 SS?
I am considering getting some but need to know if they will work. They are currently running on a 2002 SS. They are Ford green top 42lb injectors
