maf shock?
I was datalogging my friends formula tpi (32B) and was following the gm/sec. At idle(.65v), it was reading 12-15, light throttle(.88) it went up to 35- held for 5 seconds, dropped to 20, popped back up to 35, then fell back down to 20. It has been quite random, most noticeable on light take-offs.

Re: maf shock?
Ok, but why would I get a reading on the maf? Essentially the maf is reading more air and leans out. It drops in the reading, car runs fine. I'll post a screen shot tomorrow.

Re: maf shock?
What makes you say it leans out? The MAF output determines how the ECM calculates injector pulse-width. A higher MAF output would result in more fuel delivered.

Re: maf shock?
That would make sense, so wouldn't the mv go up? take a gander at the pic attached. I was holding the throttle steady in park, light throttle.

Re: maf shock?
I would try disabling (blocking) the CCP, EGR, and AIR functions and do the test again, - at least for a first try at troubleshooting.
