Hi guys, I just bought an 85 t/a from a guy that has put a stock 96 350 vortec engine in it. He has put the vortec tpi base and stock runners, and he said new stock injectors. Was originally a 305 tpi. No computer upgrades. It has two injectors (#3 & 5 ) that i think is bad, i can unplug them and it doesnt affect the engine at all. Engine has a definite skip. Already checked wires and plugs, all good. Was going to buy a set of 22lb injectors hoping to solve the skip problem and upgrade from the 19s. Will the engine run ok without having to buy a chip or upgrading the computer?? just a street car. I would be greatful for any help.

 

You need a 350 MAF knock sensor ,a 350 MAF prom ( tune ) for it to run the way the factory intended
