87 carb to 87 tpi.......

Hey all,

Simple questions for ya real quick

A. Is interior wiring same as a tpi car as carb?

I have a 87 iroc with blown lb9 and rotted out, and am looking at a 87 z28 that's lg4.

Is the drivers side (c100) iirc connector the same? And as for the passenger side?

Id rob the iroc for fuel lines and all the other efi goodies, I think it would be worth it to swap in a tpi setup and a fresh 350

no the wiring is not the same on the passenger interior.

Well dang, so the dash harness is different? Ok thanks

I know the 87 carb cars have a fuel pump in tank so it has wiring to tank. Biggest thing is changing the fuel lines and pump. I've got a walbro 255lph ready to go in from my old trans am.

Idk seems like a lotta work lol

yeah they have a wire by the pump, i put an intank pump, you need to change the sending unit to mount the electric pump, then the dash harness is different, replace or pin it out..

ok sounds like best just to stay carb for now and strip the iroc and wait til winter and do the whole swap
