Sensor in plenum?

Hey guys im looking for a little help with my project. I took this car apart 6 years ago and am now putting it back together. I noticed a threaded hole in the bottom of the plenum towards the back. What goes in there? Ive been through the GM manual and cant find anything, and due to how long its been I dont remember. The car is an 87 Firebird Formula 350. Thanks.

Re: Sensor in plenum?

It's an air temperature sensor. Co-incidentally, it's the exact same part as your coolant temperature sensor.

Re: Sensor in plenum?

Thanks. I figured it had to be something along those lines since it went in the plenum. Like i said is been about six years since i took it apart so i was scratching my head trying to figure it out.
