Carb back to tpi

I need some help please, I might be buying a 1988 gta, and the person I am buying from converted it to carb. My question is how hard is it to switch back to tpi? Actually would rather buy something like the stealth ram. Can anyone tell me what i would need to go back and possible est. cost? I tried searching but I got a bit lost.

Pic of the engine.

Thanks,
-Buddy-

Re: Carb back to tpi

Looking the pic its hard to give a estimate cause its unknown whats been done.
Just by the pic, they have changed the whole front accessories also. Running V belts, A/C semi removed, dunno what the status of the fuel system is, or the wiring harness.

I usually avoid buying cars with conversions such as that cause you are not sure of what shortcuts were taken, and they could hurt you down the road (no pun intended).

Re: Carb back to tpi

If Coyotesa doesn't take it, I'm quite interested. I got a bucket of questions and pics would certainly be nice first though. I have an old pickup I'd like to de-carb.

Ok, I havent responded because I am still looking around for a car. I am interested in the gta with the carb but it does have digital gauges as well and I dont like those at all...
