Looking for a little advice
Looking for a little advice
1991 5.0 TPI-- car went from running perfect to hard to start (3-4 tries in a row) then once running, car wants to chug/sputter/slight backfire when in drive. idling is fine, revving engine in neutral is fine, in gear though, chugging a little then smooths out, sputters a little then smooths out. Any ideas on my issue?

Re: Looking for a little advice
NO IF IT WAS AN INJECTOR ISSUE IT WOULD RUN LIKE CRAP AT IDLE AND DRIVE FINE DUE TO THE FACT THAT MORE AIR IS ENTER THE ENGINE SO IT WILL COMPENSATE FOR THE EXTRA FUEL.

Raise the hood at night; while running, look closely and check all the plug wires for visible sparking.
