Sensor ID help

Im converting to a stealth ram and need a little sensor ID help. I have searched and also looked through some alldata diagrams I have access to.

I am trying to identify the 2 sensors in the front of the intake 1 I know is the coolant temp the other is unknown fan switch maybe? It has a fuel injector type connector on it. If anyone knows on a 870 ecm does the ecm control the fan temp turn on or is it a switch?

I also read some somewhere if I have changed to a 350 I need a 350 knock sensor. Is this correct? If so got a part number and I think it is on the pass side of the block?

I am trying to replace all my sensors with the correct ones and make sure they are all functioning before I also make the switch to the EBL.

Re: Sensor ID help

That sensor on the front of the intake is the EGR time delay switch.

The sensor on the front of the intake is the ninth injector timer switch.

Explains The connector.. Thanks..

Thanks Ill be getting one of those..

Now the question about the fan switch. I do not have a sensor in the side of the head like I have seen on others. So is it specifically ecm controlled? Or am I missing something?

Re: Sensor ID help

If you are going with the ebl p4 the fan will be controlled bye the ecm as will with the signal from the cts. This setting can be changed for the on and off temps desired.
