OBD 1 port on a C4.
Yea i know not 3rd Gen, but i just picked up a 1990 C4, and need to get some things figured out. Where is that darn port for the OBD 1 output connector? i cannot find it anywhere. Also, what is the best C4 forum boards to join. i did a search, and looks like there are many. I want to join one similar to TGORG.

Re: OBD 1 port on a C4.
Thanks for the help. The corvetteforum looks good, i will join that one.
As far as the OBD1 port, yea should be right there, obvious under dash right side. Mine not, but went looking harder for it, and found it. It is shoved up inside the center heater outlet window. Not accessible by a code reader, IMO. I tried grabbing onto it, and can move it a little, but cannot pull out enough to use it. I think someone has been in there before, and moved things around. i will have to loosen/remove panels, and try to get it back into the stock location. It might be missing some fasteners to hold it in place. I just got this car, so it is new to me. And it does have an aftermarket CD receiver in it.
