FFI Questions
FFI Questions
Ok this weekend I happened on a deal I couldn't pass up. Was at a flea market and snagged a First Fuel Injection TPI system--base, LTRs, fuel rail with injectors, sensors and Plenum.
I have a couple of questions, what's it worth? and...if I put this on a totally stock 89 350 L98 Iroc, what kind of power increase would just the intake and no other mods give me. I've tried looking around for an answer but can't seem to find a dyno number for just the intake and no other mods, it seems people like to use this intake with heavily modified engines. I would like to keep mine as stock looking as possible. So anyone install one of these and dyno it?

Re: FFI Questions
Should gain 15-20 hp and more useful rpm but thats with exhaust mods. With headers and catback, it may see alittle less hp gain but it certainly shouldnt hurt. Install that with base timing advanced 2 deg and you will like it. Really will wake up with headers tho and that should be the next planned mods

I agree. You have to do the exhaust to realize the bigger gains.
