Help ASAP starting issues 89 formula!!!!
I have the 5.7 tpi and the other day I replaced the positive battery cable and the thing was running fine, yesterday I took it to work and 2 hours after returning from lunch I when to start it up and nothing all the lights are on and it's fully charged I checked all the wires but nothing, it isn't even hitting the starter, so it's not trying to turn over. I don't know where to go from here please help it's almost like no power is leaving the batter I wounder if I have a dead cell maybe thanks for the help

Could be many things , bad Ign switch , bad P/N switch on the shifter , bad wiring , bad starter.
Check the new cable you installed for tight connections either end
Run a wire from the solenoid terminal to the battery POS and see if it cranks over.
If it does ,then starter is fine and problem is between key and starter.
If it doesn't you have a problem with your starter or the main power supply from the batt

I tested the wire on the starter and it's hot so I think it's the starter itself idk yet I'm going to drop it out test it
