Weiand stealth ram intake

I just bought my first camaro and bought it in pieces. The motor wasn't in the car when I bought it but it was completely rebuild. It is only the 305 but I want to use it till I have a 350 build and ready for install. With that being said I want to adda few things before going back into the car. Has anyone used this weiand intake system? Is it worth spending the money on? Will it transfer over to the 350? Any input would be great.

Thanks
Keith.

Yes it will transfer over to the 350 as long as it has the same intake bolt set up if u have a vortec base intake it wont bolt up to early style chevy heads or it wont bolt up to the 87-92 center bolt valve cover heads. It is definite worth it, it allows the motor to breath up to 5500 rpm unlike the tpi that can only go up to 4000 rpm

I wasn't aware of that. What is the reason it won't work. I was thinking of replacing the intake in the future with that Wieand / HSR on my otherwise stock engine.

I have a 87 with center bolt valve covers so I'm taking it this intake won't work? I don't want to replace the heads do to these ones being ported and polished with all new components. I will have to look into this farther. Thanks for the input.

You just file out the 4 center bolt holes on the intake to suit the later year bolt angle
(as is done on some aftermarket intakes so one intake fits all year heads )

So really all you have to do is open a couple holes up a little to make it line up? I don't for see that being a problem.

Thanks,
Keith

Stealth rams are already slotted for both style heads.
