injectors for LB9 305

hey got another injector question for everyone. last week i posted i just got a procharger that was going on a new rebuilt 305 for really cheap. now plans have changed again. we are just going to put a bigger cam in the engine with a few mods like msd box, intake ported, headers, and under drive pulleys. now my question is will the stock 19lb injectors be ok with the camshaft im about to put in? it is a comp xr258hr12 or will i need 22lb injectors? im thinking 19lb will be ok from other threads on here but just want to make sure.

Re: injectors for LB9 305

If you have tuning ability I would get the bigger 22lbs and tune your engine for that in case one day you want to supercharge or what not. I was going to get 22lbs but I am going to swap my 305 for a bigger engine so 24's are going to be needed so I held off on the injectors.. For the record I have stock fuel pump and injectors.

Re: injectors for LB9 305

I have a 91 z28 305 tpi Camaro that I installed reman 4 hole bosh injectors that are 22lb @ 43.5 psi and are told my ecm will adjust to them and to achieve a 19lb flow rate I can adjust my reg to 39psi Maybe I should have asked questions on here first but Car runs ok not sure if it pulls any better or not just wanted someone to chime in on a recommended fuel pressure on my application or even if a tune can make 22's run good on my 305 tpi? any help would be great thanks in advance!

19's in a 305 unless you're planning on making mod's that will increase your horsepower by a significant amount
