Can't find IAT sensor wires - 1991 Firebird

This is on a 1991 Firebird Formula 5.0L TPI. So the original cool air intake that came with the car was replaced with an after market one by the previous owner. He gave me the original air intake which still has the intake air temp sensor attached. The new intake does not have any sensor on it, and I'm sure the computer would be much happier if it did. However I can't for the life of me find the connector that went to the sensor. Perhaps they just cut it off or tucked it away somewhere? Does anyone know where in the harness it's supposed to be?

intake air temp sensors on (I believe) all TPI sbc's is in the plenum. Look at the back D/S of the plenum to find it. That's where it's been on all the SD tpi's I've seen. I have no idea why (or where) the original cold air intake would have a iat in it. Maybe from a V6 car?

It's possible! It would definitely explain why I couldn't find the connector where I was looking. I'll have to take a look when it's light out again.
