Fuel tank removal and lines question
I'm chasing down an EVAP leak on my 89 350TPI. I've changed every rubber line at the canister and cleaned out the tank purge valve.
My big question is are there any rubber lines at the top of the fuel tank that I can't see from under the left rear wheel well? I stuck a snake camera up there and could not see anything. I'd hate to drop the tank only to find out they are all hard lines.....
All the catalog pics I find show hard lines from the sender to the rubber lines I can see.

Re: Fuel tank removal and lines question
No, you can see them all...but probably can't tell is there are cracks in the rubber...IIRC, two have normal hose clamps, one line has one of those spring loaded kinda clamps and is vacuum tubing, the other two I'd mentioned use fuel line.
The 4th is the pressure line, but AN style fitting with Orings as well.
One thing you can't tell though w/out dropping the tank, or cutting a hole, is the shape of the Oring gasket to seal the sending unit.

Re: Fuel tank removal and lines question
So far the "TANK" line on the charcoal canister was rotted to almost nothing and the Fuel tank vent was cracked and had dirt in the flapper....
I hope its not the O ring
