Start issue

Hi

I friend of my have a 1991 Formula 305 tpi that wont start eath time,you have to run starter for a very long time,and sometimes it starts rigth up,hot or cold same problem but more common when its hot.
Alsoe the fuelpunp dont go on at the first ignition stage.

New fuelpump but no difference.
Any suggestions ?

It Could be other heat related issues as well. fuel pump relay, bad multec injectors, icm
. Remove the fuel pump relay and inspect the wiring, some obd1
Have a test wire at G of the aldl to apply power directly to the fuel pump This would not eliminate a issue at c100 connecter. Using a noid light to check for injector pulse, a spark tester to check the icm and phmimg the injectors while the engine is warm are all good diagnostic checks .Name:  image_zps0ec828f8.jpg

It was a bad fuelpump relay
