Rich Porter mass air flow sensor
Hello I have a question about the R-P MAF sensor I was on their web site and it seems to be that they possibly have been aquired by Spectra Premium Products. The reason I am asking is I could not find the listing in the Oreillys on line catalog. I have been told by many of you this is the sensor to use, a little more money but well worth it. I was on Rock Auto and they list it under Spectra Premium. I am starting to have the trouble codes come up for MAF issues, also got sucked into buying a Cardone unit when I got the car up and running. I was just double checking about the Spectra Premium because I have heard some negative feedback about their fuel tanks and sending units. Comments concerns appreciated, Thanks

Was in the same boat, I went EBL. New MAFs are hard to find, from what I understand orileys discontinued the RP MAF.

Yes, Spectra Premium acquired Rich Porter in 2014. Time will tell as to what will happen. Every Spectra item I have ever purchased in my life has had something wrong with it. Gas tanks, heater cores, sending units all either were non-functional or required some "reshaping" in order to get them to fit.

EBL flash is an engine computer. I just installed one, works great. Changes a MAF car to MAP, deletes 9th injector, and runs off the same harness (with a few mods) as the old computer. I've had it in all of 2 days and I'm already thrilled. I've bearly scratched the surface on what it can do.
