I am in the process of upgrading my L98 to a 383 with Vortec Heads. I am attempting to keep the stock appearance and use the original brackets for the components but with the aftermarket heads and intake the A/C brackets aren't lining up. Has anybody ran into this issue and if so what did you do to mount the A/C unit etc? At this point it appears I will have to fabricate so parts to mount the A/C bracket to but if there is an easier way I am open to suggestions. The main problem is the offset bolt pattern on the vortec intake. My car is an 87 GTA. Thx.

 

Disregard I fabricated some parts and solved the problem.
