i bought a 305 motor that was carb and mine is 305 tpi the only part of the carb motor i needed was the block for the most part my stuff limed up but some didnt line up so well but i got it to fit ne way i gotta hook up my alt, power steering, and water pump and my sensors and exhaust what i am wondering is there ne thing i should be concerned about since one was carb and the other tpi? also does ne one have a diagram for the sensors so i make sure everything is hooked up right? ne help is appreciated

 

Is your original engine still in the car? If so take lost of pictures and use them as reference. There are no differences in the externals of the block and everything on the TPI engine will line up with no problems. And it is spelled any. I have a completely stock 86 so I will give you any help I can.

 

no i dont have the original engine in it ne more i got the other engine out in but just somethings were not lining up right i just need to no im not going to have to worry bout whats not lining up perfect
