Well guys....Help me spend money.
I have the LT4 hotcam, and i'll have the springs, 1.6 rr's, along with the headers shortly. I also will be getting the LT1 intake shortly. Now here's the part i've been tossing around. I'll have a 1,000 to play with soon enough, and i dunno howto spend it. Should i get heads, or rearend gears or rebuild the block? Any other idea's where the money should go? And no, i will not be donating

I'd go with gears.
It should cost around $200 for the gears and $100 or so for all the bearings which I would replace if I were you.
Install can range from $150-350. Just make sure you get them done at a place that knows what they are doing.
My brother went through 4 sets of gears in 4 months in his 96 T/A.
Could have almost bought a built up Moser 12bolt with 3.73 gears for what we paid in gears and installs. It's a long, long story. Just make sure that they will warranty the gear install & buy you new gears if they break due to incorrect installation.
Just my $.02
