Tps setting and still getting a code 22
Hi guys I'm new here. I have a 1988 trans am 305. I'm kinda stumped here I've set the tps and still get a code 22 and engine light on till I'm cruising at about 1500 rpm the engine light goes out till I let off throttle? Any ideas??

What did you set it at and how did you do it? I find it easiest to just use my red brick snanner, koeo and then adjust it so you know what the ECM sees.
Do check the voltage and resistance curve, the rheostat may have a dead spot in it right at the throttle position where you cruise. If in doubt, replace TPS
