85 305 Air intake
85 305 Air intake
I literally just need to order an air intake for my 305, but every time I put in 1985 305 Z28, it keeps throwing me into the carb'd sections. Never asks me if it's TPI or Carb'd. Whoever owned this before me tried to do a battery relocation into the back of the car, tried the easy way of running the power wire. Ran it straight under the car and zip tied it to the heat shield. Well, power wire got hot, melted the insulation, started shorting out. There's currently an intake routed into the spot where the battery sits, and I need another that won't take it's place. Any suggestions? I've tried Summit, JEGS, JC Whitney, all with no avail.

they don't make the originals anymore, I went to home depot and bought the rubber pvc pipe connectors and made one that looks pretty nice in my opinion, costed about $30 total.I'll post a picture in a sec
