Hello all! I'm new to this website..I have a question I can't find a straight answer to.. I have a 86 Pontiac trans am tpi..(in the middle of a rebuild) an both my heads are cracked.. I have a deal to buy heads for an 85 5.0 Tbi my question is will the 85 heads fit my 86 tpi manifold or is there a difference in head design?

 

85 TBI heads? Didn't think there were any TBI heads around in 85. TBI didn't come on our cars til 88? Trucks may have had them a year or two earlier iirc but look for the heads to be perimeter bolt valve covers and you should be ok.
