Question about build TPI 5.7
Hello everybody
I have a question and hope you will help me, friends
I build 5.7 TPI, as i dream few years, so i have 5.7 TPI from Corvette 1987.
+ i have another TPI intake from Camaro 1991. Vette have 9th injector.
I want to build TPI 5.7 without 9th injector and without MAF. I have ECM from Camaro 1991 yearfor building engine with MAP sensor.
Can i use TPI from 1991 Camaro with 5.7 Corvette block with alum heads 1987?
I am worry about different intake, MAYBE... or something else...
I read this article "Time to TPI" http://www.superchevy.com/how-to/148...mall-block-v8/
It is say:
"The main rule to follow when TPI hunting is to obtain as many parts as possible from the same donor engine. The TPI design can be identified by the long arching runners that extend from the base manifold to the plenum. However, the basic TPI has experienced several revisions over the years."
