A baffling question
How critical is the oil baffle on the bottom of the tpi intake manifold? If it heat concern, aluminum is a great heat conductor/transferring medium and there are already exhaust passages in the manifold, bolts connecting to the heads n areas where the baffle doesn’t cover. So how important- to baffle or not to baffle, that is the question! BTW- I got a setup that didn’t come with the baffle, so I’m wanting to know if I need to buy one.

Re: A baffling question
With the exhaust crossover in the manifold, it gets so hot that the engine oil will carbonize on it. The oil shield prevents this.
