Bogging
I own a 1985 Trans Am, 5.0 liter f.i. LB9. When I first start it, it bogs out if I hit the accelerator...sort of a hesitation, before it revs. Sometimes when I accelerate if hesitates a bit. Most of the time it runs fine after it is warm. It also seems to get hot in a hurry if I get caught in traffic. I have used Techron Injector Cleaner, and have used some premium fuel to see if it would help, but it doesn't. Also, what level of octane is best for this engine?? Thanks for any responses!

Re: Bogging
Regular octane is fine. Fuel injection cleaner is also for the most part a waste of money (sorry but im pissed at part stores and have a thing at giving them my money).
Can you record video of when this happens? A picture/video is worth a thousand words. Plus the way people describe an issue sometimes turns out to be different than what is exactly happening. Almost everyone has a camera phone and a youtube channel (or can create one in 10 minutes).

Re: Bogging
It starts fine, and if I "feather" the pedal there is no problem. If I rev it, it hesitates badly before it revs. Sort of like wha ahhhhh. I just put the car into storage, but, would like to get some tips on making it run better, and more smoothly! Once again, thanks for any responses!!
