EGR valve cleaning

Hi all, I'm about to remove and clean my 91 TPI EGR valve , is there any reset like pressure test OR release I need to do before re-install .. Thank you ..

Just watch the chemicals your using. Keep them away from the diaphragm.
This might destroy it. You can push up on the diaphragm to move the pintle up to clean the passage. Normally there is minimal amounts of carbon buildup.

Thanx for the reply , I meant to the engine after install it back or getting new one .. any reset should be done before putting parts back ?
