Dead Alternator

Hi every one , one of my friends sets the firing order 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 a misfire I used have cuse by 2 wires , car stars fine and I kept it running for about 15 min, second day I notices the car wont start , did jump to it and starts fine , did the alternator testing by loosening the negative battery cable, the negative battery cable, the engine dies.

was there any wrong electrical happened in the firing order process , thank you.

Re: Dead Alternator

Having the wrong firing order wouldn’t cause a alternator failure.
