89 1500 4.3efi to 5.7tpi out of 88 camero

Hi I have an 89 Chevy 1500 with a 4.3 EFI and I want to put my motor out of a 88 Chevy camero it’s a 5.7TPI what is interchangeable and what will I need to change around I got the new computer and a painless harness. Will I need to change the motor mounts or frame mounts? Anything is helpful

For the harness you can rework the harness to speed density tpi and use a 1227730 ecm. You also need a high pressure fuel pump for the swap.

I say put the 350 and ur favorite transmission behind it. Then do what I did to modify TBI wiring and ECM

There are slight differences because of the year (95 vs your 89) and different computer. These guys can explain the difference in the V6 and V8 ECM in the trucks if there even is one:
