Blush exhaust manifold TPI L98

Hello dear friends!

I have one big problem.
So please, help me to find a solutionof this problem.

I build 5.7 L98 engine from 2 different engines. 1987 L98 Corvette and 1991 L98 Camaro.

If i make 2000x turnover in "Parking" i have red and than WHITE exhaust manifolds.

When i drive - no problems.

I have:

- Low intake - Corvette 87
- Upper Intake - Camaro 91
- Injectors - Corvette 87. Old. Did not clean it.
- Delete EGR
- Single fan from 5.0 (not dual)
- ECM Camaro 91
- MAP from Corvette 87
- Destributor Corvette 87
- Wiring Custom

Ignition angle 6 degree

Please help!

You might try resetting the valve lash. If you overtighten the rocker nuts, you'll have the valves open during combustion, hence the exhaust will be hotter than normal.
