Ram air hood and intake

Ram air hood and intake
What have other guys done to use their ram air hood (like 4th gen) and intake while still utilizing MAF sensor? Or what have guys done to not utilize MAF sensor but not have problems? Previously I eliminated the MAF sensor but had issues on my 89 TPI... thoughts
