I'm new to the game... Just picked a 91 Z28 with a 305 and an automatic transmission. I'm looking to replace the 305 with a 383 but have been told that my current TPI system isn't spittin enough juice to do justice to the bigger engine. The general consensus is to switch to carbs but I have been told there are TPI systems out there that will outrun the carb. Anyone ever heard of a TPI blowing 1000cfm? If so where? My preference is the injectors but I'm looking for the best performance in the end. Any comments please?

There are several TPI setups out there that can flow 1000+ cfm's of air, but expect to pay at least 5 times more $ than if you were to go the carbeurated route. If I had the cash, id go for Accel's super ram setup.
