112 or 114 LSA

112 or 114 LSA? what would determine which I should get? I am running a 92 Z28 computer. I know it has something to do with vacuum at idle but what else does it do?

I believe that you will get more power out of the 112, and it will also have more of a "lumpy idle". However if you plan on using Nitrous or a Supercharger go with the 114. I don't really remember why, but you will make more power w/ the 114 and a power adder. I think it has something to do w/ valve overlap, but I could be wrong. Hope this helps

112 will give you more power and I think the computer will be fine, although a custom chip may be needed to get the most power out of it. 114 might be a little better for the computer, but the 112 should run just fine

A 114 on a N/A car will kinda of widen the power band (like a truck) if you're looking for a good strong pull at a specific RPM (which most racers are) you use your LSA and duration together to create the rpm that you'll have that peak power at. General rule on a 350 stay below 220 duration, and either a 112, or a 114 lsa. Just about EVERYBODY is running a 112

You'll live

and you'll make more peak power with the 112

Oh sounds good then I will go with the 112 LSA then. I am planning on a custom chip.
