porting

Im considering my first intake porting job. i can get a pneumatic die grinder(rotary style) capable of 25000 rpm's. will this be enough? also, should i consider dremel brand high speed cutting tips? or should i just get a standard abrasives kit? id like to know if it will be much harder to do it with the dremel pieces, hard enough to justify the cost of the standard abrasives kit? thanks guys

A die grinder will be much faster than a Dremmel.I just used a carbide cutting tip with a long shank to get down as far as I could. The Standard Abrasives kit is great for polishing and I think it comes with a stone or two but you really won't need it.A good carbide cutter will probably cost you $25 or so, unless you know someone who works in a machine shop.Hope that helps.
