HEI external coil distributor options

I had my distributor out this weekend while change the intake gaskets. The gears are OK, but I'm considering upgrading when I replace the fuel injectors. I have a new rotor, cap and external coil, but haven't changed the electonic module. Should I just change the module and go with it. What are some options to replace with. Looks like most of the distributors in Summit, etc are vaccum advance not EI. What's everyone running? Thanks!

I doubt you would see any advantage with a "performance" module ... actually I don't think I have seen one for a EFI car. There was some for the HEI ones that had more dwell and thus a hotter spark. But your car is computer controlled as far as the spark circuit.

Inspect your module. IF it is cracked or damaged, replace it. If you want a piece of mind, replace it and keep the spare in your glove box.

Mark.
