ZZ4 crate motor and TPiS mini ram system?

will a TPiS mini ram system be compatable with a zz4 crate motor? im thinking of replacing the engine i have with a zz4 and don't want to go carburated to do so...

Yes, the Mini-Ram II would work on your motor. Just investigate what cam, gear & exhaust you are gonna go with. the Mini-Ram is a lot of intake so you should have 1.75" headers, 2500 or better converter, and 3.73's preferably. It does not support EGR... something to think about. If I wanted to kill other cars w/ a SBC, I'd go mini-ram.

right now i don't have the engine yet... i am just looking into what i am going to do. i am probably going to put 1.75'' hooker headers with Loudmouth exhaust... hmmmm i didn't know it didn't have egr... that is something to think about

ZZ4 COMPLETE Engine 4 Sale

I know of someone selling a ZZ4 Crate motor that's basically ready to be installed. It's complete from the oil pan to the Holley carb. He installed the engine into his 82 Camaro in either early 200 or 2001 and has just recently pulled the engine out like 3 weeks ago. He's located in Newport News, VA. If you go to www.hrracing.com and look under Classifieds , you'll be able to find his info so that you can contact him. I looked at the engine and it does look pretty clean. I think he told me the engine has only 9,000 miles on it.
