Performance gains from an LT1 on a 383 stroker?
Does anyone have an LT1 intake on their 383 stroker? How do you like it, did you see a big jump in hp, do you have any dyno #'s or 1/4mi times? How does the stock LT1 compare to a miniram?
Thanks

My best ET with a SuperRam, 3.70 gears, and a LPE 219/219 cam was 12.00@113.5 mph.
The next year I switched to a MiniRam and a Comp XE 230/236 cam and ran a 11.71@117 mph.
I changed the intake because the SR was such a pita to work with. I like the idea of a 1 piece intake so a bought the MR. I am not disappointed at all. The motor still makes great torque and the hp increase in the upper rpm is very noticeable. Last winter I went to a Comp XE solid roller. From 5500 rpm on up to the 6800-7000 redline the motor feels like it's on nitrous!
