LT1 intake swap...t-stat housing location?

Do you think it matters how high or low you mount it? Problems with it a little above rad outlet or below head level? With the v-belt setup the AC is right in the path to the fender, so it's going to have to route under it. I could make a bracket to hang off the rear of the AC bracket also. What about air bubbles?

Axle/Gears: 8.8 rear, 4.56 gears, 4:1 transfer
As long as it's below the height of the radiator cap you'll be fine. It can't go higher then the cap or air will not escape. I always "burp" my system with the cap off and run it to operating temp.
