How do you check the TPS? What are the symptoms of a bad TPS?

 

You have to unplug the TPS connector, grab three wires and put them between the TPS plug and TPS, this will allow you to check the voltage between the BLK AND GRY wires (it maybe Blue and Black) When you find the proper wires to check voltage acros, make sure your ignition is on, and simply open the throttle slowly from closed to wide open. It should read 4 or 5 Volts at wide open.
