Should I buy generic or aftermarket for these?
Hi guys, I have a 86 IROC that will be coming back out for spring time very soon. I want to buy new: PCV valve, (180*)thermostat, and o2 sensor since I just purchased the car last Aug and havent changed these yet. I have the 305 TPI w/auto (if it matters). Should I just go out and buy AC Delco or aftermarket parts for these items? Any suggestions if aftermarket? Thanks guys!!!
Oh yeah, are there different style thermostats? If so, what type do I have?

Parts are like any other product, the cheap ones are just that, cheap. AC Delco (OEM)parts are IMO very reliable and worth the extra expense even if it cost a little more than those made in Taiwan.
Compare it to tools; would you rather buy a no name tool for $10 or a Craftman for $15 with warranty.
For example I have had to replace the Coolant Temperature Sensor 2 times, then purchased an AC Delco one from NAPA and it is still there.
That's just my opinion if it counts for anything.

The AC Delco ignition module I got from the dealership had a nice big "Made in Tawain" stick on the bottom! Or was it Singapore? But yes, AC Delco stuff is much better than Wells or other autostore brands.
