slugish after hard accele
Hey,
Ever ran into this problem before?...I have an 86 Iroc with a 305 tpi. What happends is, after accelerating quickly (half throtle) and then having to stop... Say if for a city block. The car will idle very rough and low for about 10 to 20 seconds...almost wants to chut off...then all of a sudden... Poofff...right back to normal. Could it maybe be the egr valve? What could it be?...any ideas? Please help.

If you suspect that it could bve an EGR stuck open, open the hood, disconnect the vacuum hose at the EGR and if your idle improves then you know it is bad.
