Code 32 Need some advice
I keep getting this code 32 in my car. I have a 91Z28 1LE camaro. With the 5.7 automatic. Anyways after driving on the freeway for 10minutes or more the code comes on. The only mods to the exhaust is a 3inch Borla Exhaust. Checked for vacuum line hookups looked okay. Haven't checked voltage or exact vacuum from lines. Could anyone tell me whats causin this code or if there is a permanent fix because this thing is very annoying. thanks.

Axle/Gears: 3.42 pos w/rear db
Hey, I get something similar on my 86 IROC. If its at normal temps, and I maintain the same speed for about 5 to 6 minutes - bang -the little orange light comes on. If I vary the speed, I never see the light. I have no muffler. The 3" I-pipe comes out of the converter (might even be gutted, never checked) and crosses the axle in the stock position before splitting into 2 tailpipes like a stock exhaust. Check out some of the older posts on negative back pressure egr valves. When I get my new edelbrock performer exhaust system put on it I'll see if it cures the orange light problem, meanwhile it runs too good to worry about it.

That should give you a good understanding of what is going on...
After about 10+ years, the EGR system is pretty worn out, and needs replacing... you can try checking for vaccum leaks or bad solenoids before you change out the actual valve... but I would suggest replacing the whole thing in one shot since it's old, and that way you won't have to worry about it again 1-2 years down the road...
You'll need to remove the plenum to access the valve, not too much work... be sure to get an AC Delco or GM replacement valve to insure quality, and change it out.
