Hey guys, might get a new engine from the mechanics who ran my engine without oil. If i take this to court, im might be able to replac my 305 with a 350.

I was wondering if the vette heads work with my 86 TPI? Not sure what the L98 vett heads bolt pattern is, i do know my 86's had an older bolt pattern though. At least i think. non centerbolt valve covers anyway.

The 86 intake base had a different bolt pattern than 87-up, so youll have to match the heads and intake accordingly.

 

The Aluminum L98 heads are the pre86 pattern. Isnt the baseplate on yours the pre 86 pattern?

Your 86 TPI intake is the old intake bolt style. The vette AL heads are the old intake bolt style with centerbolt valve covers. There is no EGR/heat crossover, so smog legality (which will be a concern for you) will be a problem.
