How does it run when it gets weak?

Have you checked the simple things like wires, and plugs?
Is your car running hot?
Have you checked fuel pressure? Fuel pump may be on its way out.

Changed fuel filter lately? Changed oil lately?

Hey Little how are you doing?

Anyways getting back to 86305. What have you done lately to the car? Have you added any mods? What gas are you using and what is your timing set at? Give us some more.

My timiing is set to whatever the ecm sets it at. New plugs wires the works. Not running hot or anything abnormal. It just seems to get weak when i've been driving for 30 minutes or more. New fuel filter also. The tranny seems to wanna slip a little during the 2 to 3 shift but it even gets week in first. Feels like it's losing all it's torque.

Hey Ozzy...doing great. Have you called the guy with the Dyno yet? I'm thinkin about doing that later this month, if the price isn't sky high.

What's your transmission fluid like...brown and smells burnt?
Changing your fluid may help some...but the transmission may need to be read its last rights. I am, and I'm sure others are too, unclear what you mean by losing power. Is it when you take off from start? Crusiing speed and then you stomp the accelerator?
I'm no tranny expert...but I would think your slipping trans and Torquw converter on its way out would contribute to the loss of power.

Hey Chad, I searched the net on info on the 700R-4 slipping between 2-3. Most of what I got was tha 3-4 bands are worn and the tranny needs rebuilding. I have the same problem on my GTA. If 86305 is having the same problem then it will feel like you are loosing power. Someone else had the same problem too and after rebuilding the tranny it felt a lot stronger. Less slippage I guess. What mine does is that when under hard acceleration, between 2nd and 3rd it will slip some and the RPMs will shoot up a good 300-400 RPM before engaging. I'll be getting that fixed sometime in the near future.
