I used the Fast Burns with an LT4 intake manifold. Use the search function to find my posts about it. I'm way too tired to talk about the details about the swap. It was very straight forward.

The LT-1 manifold is not designed for the E-tec or Fastburn cylinder head. The intake ports on the LT-1 manifold have the conventional SBC design, the Fastburn and E-tec's have the Vortec intake port design. The Vortec design is .250 taller and narrower then the conventional SBC design.
