Holley Hates me =(
I have sent a few emails to holey asking them if The Stealth Ram and one of the ignition systems was being used in the same car and controlled by laptop, is there software that will let them both work together under one program instead of using two seperate programs.
What do you people think?
Thanks for your response.:hail: :hail: :hail:

What the hell are you talking about?
Any EFI computer is going to have provisions to control the timing, from the junk that came in the first CCCS LG4s in 80/81 to the most modern aftermarket DFI. The ignition box itself is a stand-alone unit that simply fires the coil, it doesn't need to talk to the computer to do it's job, it just needs a signal to fire.
So i say again. Do you have a real question or are you just confused?

If my demeanor rubs some the wrong way, well, thin skin isn't my fault. I'm a direct kind of person. If you post something off base, i'm going to tell you so.
As for why am i here. I actually enjoy these cars and seeing them as a whole move forward in performance and knowledge. I try to just let annoying posts pass under, but sometimes you just can't. I don't consider it wasting my time, i call it sharing information. For example, didn't i clear up the confusion the original poster had as far as i can tell. Maybe it was a little rougher than some of you ladies would like to see, but oh well....

Matter of fact, i don't have any time to argue today so i'm just locking this.
To the original poster, if you have a question, go ahead and repost. If your confusion was just about how many computer / programs run your engine, the correct answer is most assuredly one for everything no matter what (i.e. you're not doing something very custom). And like i said, the ignition box itself is simply a collection of circuits that fire the coil, nothing more, no computer input needed or even possible
